The Eldorado Motor Inn has partnered with Karen Sheldon Catering and Anyinginyi Aboriginal Health Congress to support our most disadvantaged Australians.
Due to the chronic housing shortage and social dysfunction in Central Australia, these three private entities have joined forces to support Aboriginal people in training for real jobs and life skills. Our TTAP ‘Community’ is located to the Northern side of the Eldorado complex. Residents can enjoy a gated community, safety and access to training provided by Karen Sheldon Catering across the road. Anyinginyi Health Aboriginal Corporation provide on the ground support with cultural programs, child health and health education. We are pleased to report that after a year of the programs inception, at least 80% of our residents are now attending work or training, all children are going to school and their quality of life has improved immensely.
Eldorado staff support our residents in most aspects of their lives including understanding their money, respect & responsibility and general hygiene.
